George Andrews died on Wednesday 16th June 1915, aged 21 years, and was remembered on the YPRES (MENIN GATE) MEMORIAL, Ieper, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium.

He was the son of James S. and Annie Andrews, of 3 Balfour Street, East Kirkby, Notts.

Andrews - In loving memory of Private George Andrews, 13887, Lincolnshire Regiment; who was reported missing on June 16th 1915. We do not know if he is dead, we only know he went away. - From his loving Mother and Dad, Sisters and Brothers and Fanny.
