James Henry Bettridge died on Tuesday 10th April 1917, aged 42 years, and is remembered on the ARRAS MEMORIAL, Pas de Calais, France.
He was born c1875 at Moria, Leicestershire, to parents Levi & Mary Ann Bettridge. Levi Bettridge was a Coal Miner, and a native of Oakerthorpe, Derbys, who married Mary Ann Farner in 1867. By 1901, the family resided at Castleford, Yorkshire, where James Henry worked as a Coal Miner.
