Luther Cordin

Luther Cordin died on 14th July 1916, aged 23 years, and was remembered on the THIEPVAL MEMORIAL, Somme, France.

He was born c1893 at Sutton-in-Ashfield, to parents John and Fanny Cordin. John Cordin was a Coal Miner, and a native of Codnor Park, Derbys, who married Fanny Oscroft at St Mary's Church, Sutton in April 1884. On the 1901 census the family were living in Kirkby-in-Ashfield, but by 1916 they were living at 15 Wesley Street, Annesley Woodhouse, Notts.
