Luther Green died on 19th April 1918, aged 25 years, and was remembered on the TYNE COT MEMORIAL, Zonnebeke, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium.
He was the son of William and Emma Green, of 3 Bentinck Street, Annesley Woodhouse, Nottingham, and the husband of Hilda Mary Green, of 33 Bentinck Cottages, Kirkby-in-Ashfield, Nottingham.
He was awarded the Military Medal.

Green - In Ever-loving memory of Private Luther Green, M.M., who
fell in France April 29th 1918, aged 25 years. One year has passed and still we
miss him, Never will his memory fade, Loving thoughts will ever linger, At the
place where he is laid. In our home he is fondly remembered, Sweet memory still
clings to his name, Hearts that held him in deepest affection, Still love him in
death just the same. - From his loving Wife, Sonny and Grandma.
