Henry Edward Hauxwell died on Friday 5th November 1915, aged 20 years, and was buried in the WHITE CITY CEMETERY, BOIS-GRENIER, Nord, France.

He was born c.1895 to parents Henry and Margaret Hauxwell, who were later residing at 38 Milton Street, East Kirkby, Notts.

Hauxwell - In ever-loving memory of our dear Son and Brother, Harry Hauxwell, of East Kirkby, who was killed in action, in France, November 5th 1915, aged 20 years. We hoped for a safe returning, We longed to clasp his hand; but God has postponed the meeting, 'Twill be in a better land. Though lost to sight, to memory ever dear. - From his sorrowing Mother, Father, Sisters and Brother Arthur in France.
