Wilfred Lee died on Friday 13th August 1915, aged 19 years, and
was remembered on the HELLES MEMORIAL, Turkey. Wilfred Lee died when the
troopship "Royal Edward", carrying the South Wales Borderers to
Gallipoli, was torpedoed just off Kandeliusa Island, near Kos.

Wilfred Lee was the son of John & Fanny Lee, of 31 Sherwood Rise,
Nuncargate, Nottingham.
