Charles Rushton died on 3rd July 1916, aged 21 years, and was buried in the WARLOY-BAILLON COMMUNAL CEMETERY EXTENSION, Somme, France.

 He was born c1895 at Cheadle, Staffs to parents Charles & Elizabeth Rushton. Charles Rushton Sr. was a Stableman, and a native of Cheadle, who was living with his family in Stone, Staffs on the night of the 1901 census.
