Ernest Edward Siddy died on Monday 26th November 1917, aged 36 years, and was buried in KINGSWAY OLD CEMETERY, Kirkby-in-Ashfield, Notts.
He was born c1881 at New Sleaford, Lincs., to parents William and Mary A. Siddy. William Siddy was a Bricklayer and a native of Sleaford, while his wife was originally from Heckington, Lincs. In 1901 the family were living in Quarrington, Lincs, and Ernest must have married and moved to Kirkby sometime after that.
At the time of his death, his wife, Mrs S. Siddy, was living
at Springfield Cottage, Pond St., East Kirkby.
