Leonard Teece died on Monday 9th August 1915, aged 19 years, and was remembered on the HELLES MEMORIAL, Turkey.
He was born in 1896/7 at Hucknall Torkard, Notts, to parents Phillip and Annie Teece. Phillip Teece was a Coal Miner who married Annie Holland at Hucknall Torkard in 1896. Between 1899 and 1901 the family moved to Kirkby-in-Ashfield. After Leonard's death they resided at Forest Street and 57 Clumber Street, East Kirkby, Notts.
