Dyson Timms died on 27th August 1918, aged 36 years, and was remembered on the PLOEGSTEERT MEMORIAL, Comines-Warneton, Hainaut, Belgium.

He was the son of William and Hannah Mary Timms, of 16 Mayfield Road, Kirkby-in-Ashfield, Notts.
