Albert Varnam died on Monday 22nd April 1918, and was buried in the RIBEMONT COMMUNAL CEMETERY EXTENSION, Somme, France.

He was born c1895/6 at Kirkby, and was the son of William & Elizabeth Varnam. William Varnam was a Coal Miner and a native of Selston, who married Elizabeth Dovey at Annesley in December 1886.
