Notts Free Press - In Memoriam - 27th April 1917

Wells - In loving memory of Ptr. Cyril Wells, who died April 25th 1916, aged 20 years. We stood by his bedside, it caused us bitter grief, to watch him slowly fade away, and could not give relief. Friends may think we have forgotten him, when at times they see us smile; but they never know the sorrow that smile hides all the while. - From loving Father, Olive, Sisters and Brothers.
