Fred Yull died on 12th September 1918, aged 33 years, and was remembered on the VIS-EN-ARTOIS MEMORIAL, Pas de Calais, France.

He was born at Castle Acre, Norfolk c1885 and was the son of Elias and Eliza Yull. Elias Yull was a Fireman in the Coal Mines, who moved from Castle Acre,  with his family, after 1892. The family resided in Kirkby in 1901.
