Alfred Dennis Daft died on Saturday 7th April 1917, aged 24 years, and was buried in VADENCOURT BRITISH CEMETERY, MAISSEMY, Aisne, France.
He was born c1893 at Papplewick, Notts and was the son of Herbert and Sarah Daft. His father was a native of Bingham, Notts and was a Foreman Plate Layer at Skegby on the 1901 census.
