Henry Johnson died on 28th March 1918, aged 38 years, and was remembered on the POZIERES MEMORIAL, Somme, France.

He was born c1881 at Bottesford, the son of Fredrick and Maria Johnson. Frederick Johnson was an Agricultural Labourer, who married Maria Gibson at Shelton Church in May 1869.

Henry Johnson was living at Skegby prior to his enlistment. He was the husband of Mabel Emily Johnson, who moved to 14 Cross Keys Yard, Mansfield, Notts, after his death.
