Samuel Sills died on Friday 5 April 1918, aged 26 years, and is remembered on the ARRAS MEMORIAL, Pas de Calais, France.
He was born 25th June 1891, on Alfreton Road, Sutton-in-Ashfield. His parents were William and Sarah Sills. He was married to Mrs Frances Sills (formerly Herring).
At the time of his enlistment he was living at 97 Meden Bank, Stanton Hill, Skegby. He is also commemorated on the Sutton-in-Ashfield War Memorial.
