Oliver Leslie Bryan died on Tuesday 15th June 1915, aged 25 years, and was remembered on the YPRES (MENIN GATE) MEMORIAL, Ieper, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium.
He was born c1890 at Swanwick, Derbys, the son of John and Elizabeth Bryan. His father, John Bryan, died when Oliver was young, and his mother remarried to Edward Eyre before the 1901 census, when the family were living at South Normanton, Derbys. At the time of his death they lived at Ronald Villas, Skegby, Notts.
Oliver Leslie Bryan is also remembered on the Skegby War Memorial . He may also listed on the Skegby Memorial under his stepfather's surname, as O. Eyre.
