Leonard Davis died on Tuesday 17th November 1914, aged 22 years, and was remembered on the YPRES (MENIN GATE) MEMORIAL, Ieper, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium.

He was baptised 24th January 1892 at St Andrew's Church, Skegby, to parents George & Emily Davis. George Davis was a Coal Miner, and both he and his wife were natives of Lawley, Shropshire, moving to Skegby sometime between 1887 and 1891.
