John Tennant died on 4th November 1918, aged 22, and was buried in the CROSS ROADS CEMETERY, FONTAINE-AU-BOIS, Nord, France.
He was born at Meden Bank, Stanton Hill, on the 4th February 1896, to parents John & Sarah Eliza Tennant. His father, John Tennant, was a Collier who married Sarah Eliza Richards at Skegby Church in October 1886.
