Parish Registers

St Andrew's parish registers date from 1569 for baptisms, marriages and burials. Bishops Transcripts cover from 1626-1823.
Microfiche copies of the registers up to 1900 are held at Nottingham Archives and the libraries at Sutton, Mansfield, Mansfield Woodhouse and Nottingham.

Skegby's marriages are included on Boyd's Marriage Index, covering 1651-1675, and Phillimore's Marriage Transcript covering 1569-1812 and 1813-1837.

Baptisms covering 1813-1875 and Marriages for 1819-1885 are included on the International Genealogical Index. On the British Isles Vital Records CD-Rom Baptisms cover 1807-1809 and 1876-1885.
