Sibery Antill died on Saturday 18th November 1916, aged 23 years, and is remembered on the THIEPVAL MEMORIAL, Somme, France. He was remembered on both the main Sutton War Memorial and the Memorial of St Michael & All Angels Church, Sutton.
He was born c1894 in Sutton-in-Ashfield, to parents Elam & Frances Antill. Elam Antill was a Stationary Engine Driver in a local coal mine, and a native of Sutton-in-Ashfield. He married Frances Hibbert at St Mary, Sutton-in-Ashfield in February 1873. She was born in Mansfield.
His brother William Antill died later in the war, but was not recorded on either of Sutton's War Memorials.
