Frederick Ball died on Sunday 1 July 1917, Age 22, and was buried at LOOS BRITISH CEMETERY, Pas de Calais, France.
He was born c1895 in Selston, and was the son of Mrs. Hannah Cuckson (formerly Ball). His mother was a native of Bagthorpe, Notts, and she married Frederick Cuckson at St Andrew's church, Skegby in June 1889.
