Cyril James Barratt died on 28th April 1917, aged 19 years, and was remembered on the ARRAS MEMORIAL, Pas de Calais, France.

He was the son of Gershom and Amy Barratt, of 10 James Street, Hucknall, Notts. On the 1901 census he was living with his Grandmother, Eliza Barratt, at 40 Union Street, Sutton-in-Ashfield.
