Thomas Frederick Beardall died on Wednesday 23rd January 1918, Age 20, and was buried in the ROCLINCOURT MILITARY CEMETERY, Pas de Calais, France.

He was born late 1897 to parents Matthew and Sarah Beardall. Matthew Beardall was a Farm Labourer, and a native of Calverton, Notts. He married Sarah Moakes at St Mary, Sutton-in-Ashfield in October 1887. During the 1901 census the family were recorded at Todwick, Yorkshire, but at the time of Thomas's death they were living at 8 Bath Street, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Notts.
