Bertie Binch died on Wednesday 27 March 1918, aged 23, and was buried in PERONNE COMMUNAL CEMETERY EXTENSION, Somme, France.

Bertie Binch was born c1895 in Calverton, Notts. His father was Henry Binch, who was also a native of Calverton. In the 1901 census the family was living in Selston. His father was described as a Coal Lodger (Underground).
