Alfred Blinkhorn died on Wednesday 8th November 1916, Age 22, and was buried at ETAPLES MILITARY CEMETERY, Pas de Calais, France.

He was born on 6th June 1894 in Parliament Street, Sutton-in-Ashfield, to parents Alfred and Elizabeth Ann Blinkhorn. Alfred Blinkhorn was a Steam Power Hosiery Framework Knitter, who married Elizabeth Ann Heath at St Mary, Sutton, in May 1892. They were both natives of Sutton-in-Ashfield. At the time of Alfred's death the family were living at 32 Parliament Street, Sutton.
