Harry Blinkhorn died on Thursday 24th August 1916, Age 23, and was buried at HEILLY STATION
CEMETERY, MERICOURT-L'ABBE, Somme, France.
He was born c1893 to parents William and Ellen Blinkhorn. William Blinkhorn was a Lace Hand, who married Ellen Stendall in 1893. At the time of Harry's death they resided at 7 Bowne Street, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Notts. Harry Blinkhorn was a well-known local runner, and a prominent member of the Sutton Harriers' Club.
