William Booth died on Sunday 14 April 1918, aged 25, and was buried in the BOULOGNE EASTERN CEMETERY, Pas de Calais, France.

Booth - In ever loving memory of my dear Husband, Private William Booth (1/5th West Yorkshire Regiment), who died of wounds received in France, April 14th 1918, aged 25 years. Sleep on, dear husband, in that land, In a grave we may never see; But as long as my life and my memory last,  I will always think of thee. - From his ever loving wife and baby, Nellie.
