Arthur Brassington died on Thursday 10 October 1918, and is buried in the GRANGEGORMAN MILITARY CEMETERY, County Dublin, Republic of Ireland.
He was aboard R.M.S. Leinster, which was hit by torpedoes fired from the German submarine UB-123 on 10th October 1918. Of the 771 people on board, 500 perished. Further details can be read here.
Arthur Brassington was born 7th January 1890, at Forest Street, Sutton, the third son of John Brassington and Annie (formerly Miller).
