Horace Butler died on Sunday 29th April 1917, aged 20 years, and is remembered on the ARRAS MEMORIAL, Pas de Calais, France.
He was born late 1896 at Sutton-in-Ashfield to parents Joseph & Elizabeth Butler. Joseph Butler died in May 1897, leaving his widow with eight children. In 1901 the family were living in Union Street, Sutton.
