Frederick Scott Byron died on Tuesday 23rd April 1918, Age 22, and is remembered on the ARRAS MEMORIAL, Pas de Calais, France.

He was born c1896 in Sutton-in-Ashfield, to parents Edmund James Byron and Mary Ann (formerly Scott). Edmund James Byron was a Tailor and Draper, and a native of Mansfield, Notts. He married Mary Ann Scott, at St Saviour, Nottingham in April 1889. She was originally from Sutton-in-Ashfield.

At the time of Frederick's death the family lived at 121 Outram Street, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Notts.
