Joseph Cantwell died on Sunday 26 September 1915, Age 35, and was remembered on the LOOS MEMORIAL, Pas de Calais, France.
He was born c1880 at Bradford, Yorks, to parents William and Margaret Cantwell. William Cantwell was an Aerated Water Maker, who moved from Bradford to Sutton-in-Ashfield between 1891 and 1896. At the time of the 1901 census they were residing at Kirkby Lane, but at the time of Joseph's death their address was 2 Lime Street, Sutton-in-Ashfield
Joseph Cantwell was also the husband of Martha Cantwell, of 28 Tudor Street, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Notts.
