Stanley Clarke died on Wednesday 16th June 1915, Age 21, and was remembered on the YPRES (MENIN GATE) MEMORIAL, Ieper, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium.

He was born c1894 at Royston, Yorks, to parents Henry & Elizabeth Clarke. Henry Clarke was a Coal Miner and a native of Derbyshire, as was his wife. At the time of Stanley's death, the family were living at 11 North Street, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Notts.
