George Coleman died on Wednesday 27 March 1918, Age 34, and is commemorated on the POZIERES MEMORIAL, Somme, France.

He was born at Duke Street on the 2nd March 1884 and was the son of John & Elizabeth Coleman. John Coleman was a Framework Knitter, who married Elizabeth Henstock at St Mary's church, Sutton-in-Ashfield in June 1870.
