Alfred Cook died on Tuesday 15 June 1915, Age 23, and was remembered on the YPRES (MENIN GATE) MEMORIAL, Ieper, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium.

He was born 17th November 1891 on Welbeck Street, Sutton-in-Ashfield. He was the son of Robert Cook and Sarah Ann (formerly Turner), who married at St Mary's Church, Sutton-in-Ashfield in August 1882.

His home address at the time of his death was 1 Park Street, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottingham. He was the brother of Harold Cook, who is also remembered on the War Memorial.
