Albert Edward Cotton died on Saturday 17th July 1915, Age 33, and was buried in the ETAPLES MILITARY CEMETERY, Pas de Calais, France.
He was born c1892 at Pensnett, Worcestershire, and was the son of Samuel and Mary Ann Cotton. Samuel Cotton was a native of Pensnett, Worcs, and at the time of the 1901 census the family were living in Sutton-in-Ashfield, although some of the younger children gave Danesmoor, Derbyshire as their birthplace.
Albert Edward Cotton was also the husband of Ruth Livinia Cotton, of 22 Nag's Head Yard, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Notts.
