Thomas Edward Crofts died on Saturday 31 August 1918, Age 21, and was buried in the LA CLYTTE MILITARY CEMETERY, Heuvelland, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium.
He was baptised at St Phillip's Sneinton on 20th January 1897 to parents Thomas & Martha Crofts. Thomas Crofts was a Labourer at the Gas Works, and a native of Nottingham. His wife Martha gave her birthplace as India on the 1901 census.
In 1918 the family were living at 73 Mason Street, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottingham.
