John William Dallison died on Monday 9 August 1915, Age 31, and is commemorated on the HELLES MEMORIAL, Turkey.

He was born c1884 at Clowne, Derbys, and was the son of William & Lillias Dallison. William Dallison was a Colliery Stall Man, and a native of Nottinghamshire. He married Lillias Coleman at Selston in May 1880. Lillias Dallison died at Mansfield sometime after 1892, and William Dallison married again to Fanny Caunt in 1899. 

At the time of his sons death William Dallison was living at Lime Street, Sutton-in-Ashfield. John William Dallison was the husband of Gertrude Dallison, of 3 Slater Street, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Notts.
