Notts Free Press - In Memoriam - 18th October 1918
Davis - In loving memory of my dear husband, Lance-Corporal T. W. Davis, who was killed in action, September 2nd 1918, aged 28 years. A devoted husband, a loving dad, One of the best that God could lend; When the nights are dark and friends are few, Dear husband, and dad, we long for you. Could we have raised his dying head, And heard his last farewell; The blow would not have been so hard, To those who loved him well. - From his loving Wife, and Son, Mother, Dad and Sister Maggie, also Elsie and Brother Ted in India.
