Ernest Dove died on Monday 28 May 1917, and was buried at LOOS BRITISH CEMETERY, Pas de Calais, France.
He was born c1898, at Hucknall under Huthwaite, the son of John Dove and Eliza (formerly Smith). In 1901 the family were living at Hucknall under Huthwaite, but by the time of Ernest's death they resided at 48 Alfred Street, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Notts.
