John Dudley died on Wednesday 22nd August 1917, aged 24, and was remembered on the TYNE COT MEMORIAL, Zonnebeke, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium.
He was born c1894 at Bulwell, Notts, to parents John & Martha Dudley. John Dudley sr. was a Coal Miner and a native of Ibstock, Leics. Most of their children were born at Nuncargate, Kirkby. On the 1901 census the family were living at the Old Works, Sutton-in-Ashfield.
