Henry Egner died on Saturday 28 July 1917, Age 27, and was buried in the PHILOSOPHE BRITISH CEMETERY, MAZINGARBE, Pas de Calais, France.

He was born c1891 at Derby, to parents Henry and Elizabeth Egner. Henry Edger sr. was a Sausage Skin Maker, and on the 1901 census the family were living at 58 New Chester Street, St Pauls, Derbys.

Henry Egner was also the husband of Mrs Emma Egner (later Briggs), of 61 Carlton Road, Nottingham.
