Henry Farrand died on Wednesday 26 September 1917, aged 24, and was commemorated on the LOOS MEMORIAL, Pas de Calais, France.

He was born 8th February 1893, on Outram Street, Sutton-in-Ashfield. He was the son of Edward Farrand, a Framework Knitter, and his wife Mary Ellen (formerly Handley). They were both natives of Sutton-in-Ashfield, and had married at St Mary's church, Sutton,  in November 1884.
