James Fisher died on Sunday 27th October 1918, Age 24, and was buried in the MONT HUON MILITARY CEMETERY, LE TREPORT, Seine-Maritime, France.

He was born c1894 at Horsley Woodhouse, Derbys, to parents Isaac and Hannah Fisher. Isaac Fisher was a Coal Miner, and in 1901 the family resided at Booths Row, Horsley Woodhouse, Derby. 

James Fisher was also the husband of Mrs J. Fisher, of 29 Brookdale Road, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Notts. He left one child.
