Arthur Ernest Freeman died on Sunday 10 October 1915, Age 19, and was buried in NEW IRISH FARM CEMETERY, Ieper, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium.

He was born c.1896 at Skegby.  He was the son of Thomas Freeman, a Coalminer and native of Rainworth, Notts and his wife Florence (formerly Caunt) who was born at Skegby. They married at St Andrews Church, Skegby in March 1894, and at the time of Arthur's death they were living at 19 Queen Street, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Notts.
