HALL T. G.
Thomas George Hall
Lance Corporal 11561
7th Bn. Leicestershire Regiment
Thomas George Hall died on 14th July 1916, aged 23 years, and was buried in IRON COPSE CEMETERY, MAMETZ, Somme, France.
He was born on 7th October 1892 on Welbeck Street, Sutton-in-Ashfield, to parents Frederick William and Eliza Harriet Hall. Frederick Hall was a Baker at the time of his birth, although by the 1901 census he had changed occupation to Coal Miner, and were living at 84 Stoney Street, Sutton.
At the time of his death, his mother was recorded as Mrs. E. H. Walton, of 190 Rolleston Drive, Lenton, Nottingham, although from the 'In Memoriam' entry (below) it appears his father was still living locally.
