Harold Hunt died on Saturday 16th September 1916, age 34, and was buried in the ST. SEVER CEMETERY, ROUEN, Seine-Maritime, France.

He was born c1882 at Carrington, Nottingham, to parents Waring & Mary Hunt. Waring Hunt was a Coal Miner, who married Mary Marriott at St Mary's Church, Sutton, in December 1874. In 1901 Harold was living with his father on Mansfield Road, Sutton-in-Ashfield.
