Alfred Huskinson died on Sunday 11th February 1917, aged 35 years, and was buried at BRAY MILITARY CEMETERY, Somme, France.

He was born c1881 at Sutton-in-Ashfield, to parents James & Mary Huskinson. James Huskinson was a Coal Miner, who married Mary Hudson sometime between 1876 and 1878. James Huskinson died in 1895, and Mary married Walter Ratcliffe sometime before 1901. On the 1901 census Alfred was living with his mother and stepfather on Phoenix Street, Sutton-in-Ashfield, and he was employed as a "Carter on Farm".
