Clarence Hutchinson died on Thursday 10th October 1918, Age 20, and was buried in BEAULENCOURT BRITISH CEMETERY, LIGNY-THILLOY, Pas de Calais, France.

He was the son of John and Eliza Ellen Hutchinson, of 23 Russell Street, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottingham, and the brother of Frank Hutchinson, who is also commemorated on the memorial.

Hutchinson - On October 10th 1918, Clarence Hutchinson, son of Mr & Mrs J Hutchinson, 23, Russell Street, Sutton, died of wounds in France, aged 20 years. "Greater love hath no man; he gave his life for his friends".
