Cyril Kidger died on Thursday 22 November 1917,  Age 22, and was buried at the ROCQUIGNY-EQUANCOURT ROAD BRITISH CEMETERY, MANANCOURT, Somme, France.

He was born c1895 and was the son of William and Eliza Ann Kidger. William Kidger was a Power Frame Knitter and a native of Sutton, who married Eliza Ann Coleman in September 1894. At the time of Cyril's death they were living at 22 Park Street, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Notts.
